MFD - Modular Avionic Computer

The Modular Avionic Computer (MAC) is an advanced avionic MFD system designed to support multiple solutions and sensor suites. It is flexible, rugged, low power consumption platform, providing a wide array of avionics applications where rapid implementation, easy integration and high performance are required.


System Description:

Built around a state-of-the-art digital computer, performs as a general purpose, I/O, video, voice and graphics processing platform. It supports communications standards, such as MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC 429, RS-422, Ethernet, USB, RS-232 and more. The I/O configuration can be tailored to any specific application and customer requirements.


Front panel characteristics:

Monitor Display: 5" diagonal high-brightness 800*480 dpi color Active Matrix LCD (AMLCD) screen. The CDU Display is fully sunlight readable and NVG compatible, with LED backlighting


Temperature: -40C to + 71C

MIL-Specs: MIL-STD-461E, MIL-STD-810F

Applications: Stores & Weapon release, Chaff and Flare Dispensing, Display processing, Digital map display, RS-170 Display

CDU - Cockpit Display Unit

The CDU is a full MIL-SPEC Cockpit Display Unit with user friendly HMI interface between the helicopter/aircraft crew and the avionics system. Using the CDU OSS pushbuttons, the aircrew can select and control the avionics systems including selection of modes/sub-modes, data entry and editing, self-test, and more. The CDU supports various communication protocols with the mission computer and the avionic systems such as : MIL-STD-1553 or ARINC 429, RS-422, RS232, Can Bus, Ethernet (internal 4/8 port switch is optional), USB, The CDU support up to 16 GPIO, A/D and D/A. The CDU has built-in data storage capabilities and can drive a secondary display unit. Data interface for mission parameters up/downloading capability is optionally available using a USB flash memory device.

GMFCD-104 - 10.4" Display for Ground Applications

GMFCD-104 is a flexible, rugged low power consumption display for a Ruggedized ground applications. The display provides high brightness and panel with illuminated push-buttons. The display complies with the requirements of MIL-STD-810F extended temperatures, MIL-STD-461E, MIL-STD-1275B among others. The Display supports several video inputs, including RS-170A PAL/NTSC, VGA, DVI and more. In addition, RS170A video output can be provide for video monitoring or recording. The panel can be fully customized to specific requirements, including optional Protected switches and other customer's requirements and different types of interfaces such as discrete, analogue and digital communication interfaces, MIL-STD-1553, CAN BUS etc.
